Darrell Wallace Jr. will be making his return to NASCAR competition this weekend at Michigan International Speedway in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition.
Wallace will drive the No. 99. MDM Motorsports entry in Saturday’s LTI Printing 200 with sponsorship from Maestro’s Classic, a company that specializes in beard care products.
Wallace, a former truck series regular, competed in the series full-time in 2013 and 2014. Over those two years, He collected five wins, 14 top-fives, 26 top-10’s, and three poles. Since then Wallace has competed in the NASCAR XFINITY Series until Pocono earlier this year when the No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing entry suspended operations as Wallace subbed for the injured Almirola.
Wallace also mentioned that MDM Motorsports still has some open race weekends, but nothing was set in stone.
